Policies and procedures
To comply with legislative requirements, the UMass Dartmouth Global Student Program (GSP) has a number of policies and procedures in place. These policies and procedures include privacy, academic misconduct, academic probation and dismissal, and examination process.
UMass Dartmouth GSP is bound by the Privacy Act which regulates the way private sector organizations can collect, use and disclose personal information.
Code of Conduct
The Code of Student Conduct provides a framework of standard acceptable behaviour for students. Students are responsible for understanding and complying with this Code.
All students studying at UMass Dartmouth GSP have the right to be treated with respect and courtesy by UMass Dartmouth GSP staff and fellow students in an environment free from harassment and conducive to learning.
UMass Dartmouth GSP expects you to abide by the Code of Conduct by accepting responsibility for your behaviour and conducting yourself in a professional manner at all times, treating fellow students and staff with respect, honesty and courtesy.
Grievance procedures, appeals or complaints
UMass Dartmouth GSP has policies and procedures for dealing with student complaints, grievances and appeals in a constructive and timely manner.
Access and equity
UMass Dartmouth GSP is committed to equal opportunity for all students to ensure that no student who has met the specified academic and English language entry requirements is denied access to a program and that no student, once enrolled in a course, is disadvantaged.
All UMass Dartmouth GSP staff, both academic and administrative, are responsible for ensuring that any student with disabilities is treated with dignity and courtesy, and given every opportunity to reach their full educational potential.

Credit transfer may be given to students who have completed an equivalent course of study at accredited institutions of higher education where the grade received was not lower than the minimum requirement. Some additional requirements may apply. Application for credit transfer must be included when submitting an application.
